Things that I love right now

* Two of my very close friends are engaged! I'm so excited for them! I cannot wait for this wedding. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE weddings and pretty much always have fun, this will be the best. I know and love so many people that will be there, it will be great. Better than great, it will be the best. Congratulations to Mitch and Malory!

* I am more than obsessed with Beauty and the Geek right now! I am in love with Tommy. Every season I fall in love with a geek. I have issues. Tommy is freakishly tall, and kinda looks like Bob Saget. ISSUES. He just seems really sweet. The sad thing is, I like him pre-makeover better. I am very anti-highlights for men. Here he is before: (with another geek, Joe, whom I DETEST!)

And after:

Still cute though. New episode tonight. Only three left...I am sad about that.

*I am in LOVE with Bliss high intensity hand cream. It has macadamia oil and grapeseed extract. In a word, AMAZING. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

* Stila Lip Glaze in Fruit Punch. This is defined as a creamy red. I think of it more as a dreamy pink. I can't upload the picture of the actual color, but it is fun. I bought this FOREVER ago, and never used it. I re-discovered it and was pleasantly surprised. Anyone that has used Stila lip glazes before knows how amazing they are. They have incredible staying power! The only thing I don't like, and never have liked is the clicky applicator. I hate these. I feel like it wastes product and takes longer to apply.

So those are just a few things that I'm loving right now :-)

I really love

Spending the day watching Arrested Development with my Dad.

George Michael Bluth: I came to talk to you about the softball game. We need some girls on the team this year.
Michael Bluth: It's a league requirement.
Narrator: One that was difficult to keep, given GOB's behavior in the third inning of last year's game.
[shows GOB lying on top of a woman
Narrator: And in the fifth.
[shows GOB following one of the female players
Narrator: Oh, and before the game.
[shows GOB pouring water over the female players
Michael Bluth: We lost our entire outfield and a couple of court cases.

Something weird I noticed

I randomly felt like listening to "My heart will go on" from the Titanic soundtrack two days ago. April 15th. Yeah the anniversary of the Titanic. I wasn't even thinking about it. I just found the CD and listened to that song. Very eerie.

Why I LOVE LOVE LOVE David Wright....and kinda want to kiss him.

Seriously is there a cuter, nicer, more humble MLB player? I think not. My beloved Mets might be having a rocky start to the season, but hey, they are still #2 in the NL East. AND its so so early. I have faith! GO METS!!!!!

What an amazing night so far...

I am having the best night. First of all, its Wednesday, so CSI:NY is on. Plus I can't really explain why, but I have always loved Wednesdays. Hump day as people call it. Anywho, tonight I took a long bath, used my Kiehl's microdermabrasion, used my bliss instant oxygen mask, and this new DDF moisturizer. Basically my skin feels amazing.

I am so relaxed. I think I am going to give myself a mani/pedi in a few. Gotta do something while I wait for CSI:NY! I'm in the mood for sexy detectives. Speaking of SCANDAL!!! Last weeks episode made me go SHAME ON YOU DANNY MESSER! But I'm not like the CSI nerds on the IMDB boards (so I read them sometimes, don't judge. I've only posted like ONCE) anywho, there are people who are refusing to watch the show anymore. They say its soap opera ish now. UH NO. Danny cheated on his girlfriend. That happens all the time on TV. Seriously, infidelity is COMMON. It makes for an interesting plotline. Still sad though. Danny, you are so troubled. The actor who plays him is Carmine Giovinazzo, and he has a band, Ceesau, and they are pretty good. I love him. He looks a lot like my friend Daniel, which is really weird because his character name is DANNY. And Daniel hates CSI:NY (despite never having watched it).

Well, I'm off to go watch some Little People, Big World (guilty pleasure tv) and do that mani/pedi :-)

Its been a while

Wow, its amazing how not having a computer affects writing in a blog. I just got a new macbook and I kinda love it. I'm such a girl though, I think that I love it mostly because it is cute. Anywho, I can write in this blog now.

What have I been up to? Well lets see, looking for a nursing job (SUCKS, isn't there supposed to be a shortage?), sleeping, cleaning my room, playing with this macbook, catching up with friends that I have neglected (I'm workin' on it. You don't realize how much people miss you, and then all of a sudden everyone is calling you. God, I sound so full of myself, but there are lots of people that I haven't hung out with in a long time, we're talking pushing a year. Its also hard when people who you used to hang out with all the time end up taking a backburner. There are only so many hours in a day. Plus I hate doing things on weekday nights. I don't know why, but I just do. Sleep related mostly). reading celeb gossip blogs, watching Rock of Love 2 (the writer's strike gave me no choice)....side note, thank GOD CSI:NY and The Office are back with new episodes. Seriously left a void in my life. Sad, but true. I'm pretty much caught up with Gossip girl at this point, and new episodes start next week. I am VERY excited!!! This show has filled the void that the OC left. Except there is no Mischa Barton to ruin the show with her bad acting. The cast is amazing!

So that's what's been going on, kinda....I'll post regular blogs later :-)
